After manufacturing chromate conversion coatings for two decades, we developed and commercialized the first non-chrome conversion coating - Alcoat® 1000 - for the aluminum heat exchanger industry in 1994. We phased out production of chromate products in 2005 as part of our commitment to the environment and our community. The following products represent the latest in non-chrome technologies.

A new non-chrome coating with outstanding paint adhesion properties. We achieved over 3000 hours in NSS on painted aluminum panels with 2-3 mils of polyester-urethane paint. Useful on parts to which a sealer is applied to improve hydrophilicity or corrosion resistance.
