Lubricants
Circle-Prosco manufactures a wide range of lubricants for various industrial
applications. We specialize in the automotive and residential heat exchanger
industries. Our products and experience in these fields come from working
cooperatively with customers, machine manufacturers, and other outside
suppliers. With this collective knowledge, we can help manufacturers of braze
related products reduce or eliminate deoiling systems, streamline manufacturing
processes, and improve quality. We also specialize in residential fin stamping and
tube expanding.
All of our products are compatible with each other and can be used to make any
aluminum component. They have been tested with a variety of flux chemistries from
all of the leading flux manufacturers.
| Water based petrochemical solutions designed to meet the
lubricity requirements of most aluminum stamping and forming operations. CV products
can be used to reduce excessive oxide build-up in shipping and will impart a
slippery surface that will aid in the assembly process. Advantages include low VOCs
and compatibility with CAB, vacuum and most other braze methods. Specific products
can eliminate the need for cleaning and can be fluxed over without any cleaning. |
| CV-200 |
This water-based synthetic is widely used throughout industry. Customers
employ it in many applications, including fin forming, tube mill applications, and
light stamping. CV-200 will not separate in water. |
| CV-400 |
Our updated version of CV-200 has excellent lubricity and increased
volatility where deoiling is desired. CV-400 can also be used in most CAB operations
without any deoiling. It provides a wettable surface for flux adhesion and is
compatible with a variety of flux application techniques. |
| Oil or solvent based products for a variety of forming and
stamping operations. They can also be used for specific tube mill operations. Our DL
products are compatible with all deoiling operations, including aqueous, solvent, or
thermal degreasing. |
| DL-485 |
An industry standard for many years for fin forming and many stamping
operations. DL-485 can be used in conjunction with a variety of CAB and vacuum braze
operations. DL-485 can also be used as a base for electrostatic fluxing operations.
|
| DL-495 |
A heavy duty version of DL-485. |
| DL-486 |
DL-486 combines machinability with excellent flux wetting characteristics.
|
| DL-405 |
A great product for tube mill cut-off applications. |
| DL-465 |
Ideal for tube expanding light to heavier gauge material. |
| DL-466 |
Used for fin stamping of all kinds. DL-466 works very well when higher
collar heights are required. |
| The EV line of lubricants was specifically engineered to
provide all the desired characteristics of a lubricant for aluminum stamping and
forming with an added benefit: in many cases, it can reduce or eliminate the
requirement for a degreasing step prior to fluxing. All EV products have excellent
volatility. |
| EV-1-LT |
Designed for most light to medium duty aluminum stamping and forming operations. It can
be used in a variety of tube mill operations. |
| EV-2-HD |
A heavy duty version of EV-1-LT where increased lubricity is required. |
| The VO line of lubricants is designed to be used for light duty stamping
and forming operations where high volatility is the main concern. |
| VO-205 |
VO-205 is a light duty lubricant for aluminum stamping and forming operations.
Excellent volatility. |
| VO-207 |
A higher flash point version of VO-205. |
