The CV line of water based lubricants are synthetic solutions that are compatible with most (Controlled Atmosphere Brazing) CAB operations. Applications are: welded aluminum tube mills and aluminum fin forming. Can be aqueous washed, thermally degreased or fluxed over without cleaning depending upon the operation.

A higher flash point version of VO-205A.
Can be thermally degreased or aqueous washed. They are typically used on aluminum for rolled fin forming, tube forming and select stamping operations.

A heavy duty version of EV-1LTA where increased lubricity is required.
Aluminum Coil with Lubricant
Can be aqueous washed. They are typically used on aluminum for tube expanding and bending using standard application processes and technology.
VO-205A is a light duty lubricant for aluminum stamping and forming operations. Has excellent volatility.
Can be aqueous washed or thermally degreased. They can also eliminate any cleaning prior to CAB, allowing the aluminum component surface to have a wettable "flux friendly" surface. Typically used for fin forming select stamping operations.
The VO line of lubricants is designed to be used for light duty stamping and forming operations where high volatility is the main concern.
This is a low VOC version of DL-485A and has similar performance characteristics.
Designed for most light to medium duty aluminum stamping and forming operations. It can be used in a variety of tube mill operations.
(same as above, except the premix is to be used as delivered - premix dilution is proper for most aluminum tube mill operations)
Circle-Prosco manufactures a wide range of lubricants for various industrial applications. We specialize in the automotive and residential heat exchanger industries. Our products and experience in these fields come from working cooperatively with customers, machine manufacturers, and other outside suppliers. With this collective knowledge, we can help manufacturers of braze related products reduce or eliminate deoiling systems, streamline manufacturing processes, and improve quality. We also specialize in fin stamping and tube expanding for residential and commercial stationary heat exchangers.
All of our products are compatible and can be used to make any aluminum component. They have been tested with a variety of flux chemistries from all of the leading flux manufacturers.
CPI Lubricants pass testing for ASHRAE 97, ASTM E-1868 Loss on Drying by Thermogravimetry (VOC Test) and ASTM D-5725 Surface Wettability (Hydrophilicity) Measurement.
The EV line of lubricants was specifically engineered to provide all the desired characteristics of a lubricant for aluminum stamping and forming with an added benefit: in many cases, it can reduce or eliminate the requirement for a degreasing step prior to fluxing. All EV products have excellent volatility.
Can be aqueous washed or thermally degreased. Designed to be compatible with vacuum braze or CAB operations. Used for fin forming and select stamping operations.
Brazetech 100B is a water based hybrid emulsion that contains a small percentage of oil for operations that require medium to high lubricity. It is to be used as delivered, not diluted. Applications: Aluminum tube forming, fin forming and select stamping operations. It can be aqueous washed, thermally degreased, or fluxed without cleaning, depending upon the operation.
Oil / Solvent Based
These products are evaporative lubricants composed of high clarity solvents and refined additive packages. They are designed to be environmentally friendly and safe to work with in typical forming operations. The DL and EV line of lubricants are designed to evaporate with mild heat or low temperatures. They will cleanly volatilize at typical thermal degreasing temperatures. The VO line of lubricants consist of vanishing oils with high levels of volatility and will evaporate at ambient temperatures. These products are designed for CAB and Nickel Braze operations where complete lubricant removal is vital to the process.
CPI has a variety of lubricant products to fit any application. Consult your CPI Representative for specific product recommendations.
Can be aqueous washed or thermally degreased. Typically used for fin forming and select stamping operations.
Can be aqueous washed or thermally degreased. Can be used in conjunction with electrostatic or wet slurry flux applications. A proven industry product, it can be used for fin forming and select stamping operations.
